Ronnie Cochran is a self taught musician who plays multiple instruments including Drums, Electric Bass and Keyboards. The project Super Nova is his first Jazz Album which has 12 original tracks produced by Ronnie.
The songs from Super Nova gives listeners an experience as if they are listening to a live band when actually the songs were all programmed and digitally recorded. Over the years, Ronnie has gained a reputation for replicating live playing feel through sequence programming and keyboard instrument manipulation.
Although Ronnie has a deep passion for jazz music his musical roots also includes R&B, Soul and Hip Hop.
Earlier Works
As a Rapper, Ronnie has performances on two classic Hip Hop compilation albums. The first was on the legendary Rooftop Records which featured Hip Hop Pioneers like Greg Marius, Queen Lisa Lee, and B-Fats.
The second Hip Hop compilation album that Ronnie was featured on was
DJ Premier's New York Reality Check 101 under the stage name Rezidue. This classic compilation featured various artist including Bad Boy Records artist
G-Depp.
Ronnie's Jazz influences can be heard on the song Boogie Down's Got The Flava by Foundation & Rezidue. The song was produced by Ronnie under the stage name Rezidue and currently has more than two million views on YouTube
